Hi, 

I'm Evelyn but better known as Eve, currently completing Bachelor of Film at SAE, Northbridge, Perth. I have grown up in WA and hope to become a successful writer and director in the Australian Film Industry. Although, I have been heavily involved in other roles such as 1st AD and Producer of which I enjoyed thoroughly. My passion in writing and directing is driven by exploring the different ways of telling stories and how audiences can interpret them different ways.

My passion for film comes from its ability to connect audiences with a story that can inspires, motivate and entertain us. Some stories touch us on a personal level and others inspire us to be our best selves or teach us about something we weren't aware of before. The world of film is only limited by your own imagination and I feel it shouldn't be held back because your message or story may be that message that someone person needs or wants to hear. 

My inspirations come from directors such as Christopher Nolan and Guillermo Del Toro. They're methods and movies encourage me on a personal level. Especially Guillermo del Toro encourages the weird and unusual and that uniqueness is beautiful and wonderful. I value each persons uniqueness and weirdness (including my own) and we should be proud of that trait within ourselves and others.

WA is such a scenic delight for filmmakers with the beautiful coast to the bushland it is an amazing place to live and has been an amazing place to film and hope to continue to film in WA. My personal genre at the moment is horror/thriller and being a horror/thriller fan I hope to make some amazing films where fans can really have fun and enjoy the journey and the thrills.
